Controls specialist Carel will be presenting its range of services designed to optimise system management at the upcoming Euroshop event in Düsseldorf (26 February - 2 March).
The rise in energy costs and recent regulations together require a reduction in the energy impact of systems. In the food retail market, the challenge starts with the design and installation of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems, which have the greatest impact on energy consumption, and continues with management of the systems throughout their lifecycle, always with food quality as the top priority.
One of the tools offered by Carel is the Red optimise platform, developed to integrate machine learning models that automatically identify declines in performance compared to expected behaviour, providing useful maintenance suggestions.
Through this portal, with energy analysis reports and identification of the best behaviour to be adopted, Carel aims to support retailers in increasing their efficiency, providing technical training and making its experience available to customers, from system design to management.
Carel says its digital services allow manufacturers and maintenance personnel to efficiently commission, configure and service units equipped with specific controllers, using customisable apps via a wireless connection without needing to act directly on the unit interface, which may not always be easily accessible.
