Update on the ACR Trainee of the Year Awards, which have been held at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield for the past 10 years.
This has been an extremely successful not-for-profit event which has seen in excess of £50k invested back into training. In addition to the substantial cheques and prizes received by the entrants and subsequent winners, the residual monies are shared equally with the training providers of the winning entrants. These funds can only be used for investment in kit and training, not for paying salaries, utility bills or the like.
The Belfry has been a very popular choice over the years and the ACR Journal team have worked tirelessly to keep costs to a minimum throughout this period. The lower the costs the more investment available for training.
However, as time has gone on, and more latterly the issue with Covid-19 and accessibility to networking events, it has been agreed that the ACR Trainee of the Year Award category will now sit within the National ACR & Heat Pump Awards.
This sell-out event is being held at the Midland Hotel, Manchester on the 21st of January 2021.
Fortunately, due to the generous support of sponsors, we are still able to keep this brand as a not-for-profit category. Which means the top 3 will still receive cheques of £1000, £500 & £250, and surplus monies will still be shared with the training providers involved.
ACR Journal will invite the top 3 trainees and guest of their choice FOC and all training providers will be provided with a reduced rate for table/places on the night.
