The Institute of Refrigeration is inviting people to celebrate the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump industries at the 120th IOR Annual Dinner in London next month.

Taking place on February 27 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul's, the evening and will provide the usual mix of entertainment and quality networking opportunities and is an ideal platform for contractors, engineers and manufacturers to meet up with old friends and colleagues, hear about the industry’s latest developments and make new contacts.

The event will begin with a welcome drinks reception followed by a three course meal and includes awards recognising the achievements and talent of members of the cooling and heating industry at different stages of their career and development. The J&E Hall International Gold Medal for practical contribution to the development of RACHP technology is an internationally respected accolade which recognises the most noteworthy practical contribution to the science of refrigeration, while the Ted Perry Award is designed to encourage and promote research by students related to refrigeration and air conditioning. Other awards include the Kenneth Lightfoot Medal, which is voted by IOR members and rewards the individual or the team which presented the best paper during the past year. Finally, the IOR Service Engineers’ Section distinguishes exceptional technicians and engineers with its lifetime achievement award which recognises an individual’s commitment to a career in service, maintenance or installation engineering.
