Daikin is set to bring together hospitality professionals, consultants and industry experts for its first dedicated Hotel Summit, taking place on 4 June 2026 at Tate Modern.

Designed to explore the challenges and opportunities facing the hotel sector, the event will focus on practical strategies for improving building performance, reducing carbon impact and future-proofing hospitality assets, while maintaining guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Set against the backdrop of one of London’s most iconic venues, the summit will explore key challenges facing hotel operators and building owners, including ageing HVAC infrastructure, stranded assets and balancing sustainability targets with capital expenditure and energy performance. The agenda will also cover the role of SMART controls in improving energy efficiency and guest comfort, addressing Scope 3 emissions through service-led innovation, and the latest solutions for efficient hot water generation and simplified hotel room HVAC fit-outs.

Attendees will also learn more about engineered HVAC solutions designed specifically for hotel environments, including how Daikin’s VRV5 technology can help remove the need for costly and visually intrusive refrigerant leak detection systems within hotel room fit outs. By simplifying compliance and reducing installation complexity, these solutions can support more efficient project delivery while helping maintain the aesthetic and comfort standards expected across modern hospitality spaces.
