New indoor options for Fujitsu VRF

Fujitsu has introduced a range of new Airstage indoor units designed for its VRF air conditioning systems, including cassette, floor and wall mounted models.

The Airstage Circular Flow Cassette features new corner airflow paths. Combined with a high performance DC motor, turbo fan and a unique airflow louvre design, the new cassette offers 360° coverage.

​In addition, each louvre can be set individually via Fujitsu’s Touch Panel Remote Controller, providing different directional airflows to suit all types of room layout. Systems utilising the wired version of the Touch Panel Remote Controller have the option of Fujitsu’s ‘Human Sensor’ for added efficiency; this detects when a room is unoccupied, switching the unit into energy saving mode, but automatically returning to the set temperature when people return to the room. It will also turn the indoor unit off if no movement is detected in the room after 30 minutes. Noise is reduced by the new airflow structure, with a six-speed ‘multistep’ fan operation.

There are six Airstage Circular Flow Cassette models with nominal cooling capacities of 5.6kW, 7.1kW, 9.0kW, 11.2kW, 12.5kW and 14.0kW respectively.

Fujitsu has also added the compact Airstage Floor to its range. The size and flexibility of these products enables them to be installed in a variety of locations, including beneath windows and concealed in a wall recess in a standard concave position. They can also be semi-concealed, as well as wall-mounted, depending on the application in hand.

The units benefit from two fans and wider vertical airflows, enabling them to cool or heat a whole room quickly and efficiently. There are four models available, boasting nominal cooling capacities of 2.2kW, 2.8kW, 3.6kW and 4.0kW respectively. Plus, the six-speed ‘multistep’ fan operation offers operating noise levels as low as 22dB(A). 

The latest Airstage Wall Mounted units boast increased capacities, as well as a new flat design. The introduction of a new, more powerful diffuser has resulted in vertical and horizontal airflow increasing by  impressive 20 per cent.

There are six new wall mounted models in the range, with total cooling capacities of 3.6kW, 4.0kW, 5.6kW, 7.1kW, 9.0kW and 10.0kW. Two existing smaller models at 2.2kW and 2.8kW are also available. Each unit also benefits from six-speed ‘multistep’ fan operation, which can guarantee noise levels as low as 33dB(A). The 3.6kW, 4.0kW, 9.0kW and 10kW models also benefit from Fujitsu’s ‘Human Sensor’ technology.
