Hitachi Cooling & Heating is upgrading its airHome air conditioning range with the introduction of airHome Ducted and airHome Ducted Slim.
With capacities ranging from 1.8kW to 7kW in both single and multi configurations, airHome Ducted and airHome Ducted Slim are said to be particularly well suited to refurbishment projects in both houses and apartments, where space limitations and architectural harmony are essential.
The new airHome Ducted Slim model offers a shallow height of 19 cm, allowing it to fit into tight ceiling voids commonly found in renovation projects. Available in sizes 18, 25 and 35, it delivers whole-home comfort while keeping visual impact to a minimum – only discreet diffusers or grilles are visible within the living space.
Both airHome Ducted and airHome Ducted Slim are equipped with Mold Guard, designed to inhibit the growth of mould inside the unit and help maintain a cleaner internal environment. airHome Ducted Slim further enhances air quality with FrostWash, a self-cleaning heat exchanger technology that helps prevent and eliminate accumulated pollutants, and AQtiv-Ion – available as an optional feature via the remote control – an ioniser that captures and neutralises airborne particles.
An integrated condensate pump ensures efficient and optimal system performance, while easily accessible components (including the drain pump) allow for faster servicing.
Users can manage their system remotely through the airCloud Go mobile app. Wi-Fi connectivity is available as an option by adding a SPX-WFG03 gateway.
