Elta's extract Revolution

Elta Fans has expanded its extract offering with the launch of a long-cased axial fan. The Revolution SLC EC is designed for a range of applications, including commercial kitchens and industrial warehousing, and is available in a number of sizes, from 315 to 630mm, offering air volume flow rates of up to 4.159m3/s. 

Featuring a high-performance impeller, it can also operate in temperatures of up to 60oC and has been developed to ensure compliance with legalisation due in 2020, with the aim of future-proofing the fan range against changes to regulations.

David Millward, Product Manager at Elta Group, said: “A great frustration for those working within the ventilation industry is that products are at constant risk of withdrawal due to legislative changes. The Revolution SLC EC has been designed to alleviate this issue, and it should easily pass any regulations that are anticipated before 2030.”

The transition from an AC motor to a low energy EC motor negates the need for a mains-powered speed controller, which is said to make installation quicker and easier, and lower overall running costs and CO2 emissions by adjusting fan speed to produce a more efficient and environmentally-friendly solution.
