Institute of Refrigeration members can now vote for the Kenneth Lightfoot Medal, which rewards the best paper in the IOR paper and presentation 2019/20 session.
Eligible papers, which are available from the IOR web site, are as follows:
- Eco-design and energy labelling - Judith Evans, FInstR
- Exploring the History of the HallScrew Compressor - Terry Young
- GreenSCIES – Green Smart Community Integrated Energy Systems – Integration with data centres – Catarina Marques MInstR
- Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and their Potential in Adsorption Heat Pumps - Eman Hussein
Voters must ensure they have read the papers before casting their vote here.

The award is supported by Lightfoot Defence and the winner, who will be announced in 2021, will receive an engraved medal and a cheque for £500.
