Sauermann Group has underlined its ambitions for further growth with two additions to the UK team.

The leading manufacturer and provider of HVACR solutions has appointed Ian Mellor as business development manager and Sam Newman as marketing and communications officer.

Ian joins Sauermann UK from Mitsubishi Electric, where he was responsible for delivering full solutions to a range of end users. With commercial experience within the HVACR sector spanning over 20 years, coupled with a high level of technical knowledge, he will deliver a growth strategy for the KIMO instruments range.
He said: “I started my career as an engineer so I genuinely understand how to create and deliver value for the end user. Sauermann has an excellent reputation, and we have a tremendous opportunity to influence the industry by enhancing the value that we bring to the marketplace, embracing the incredible technology and quality of KIMO instruments.”

Sam, who joins from the medical device industry, said: “It’s easy to get passionate about the monitoring and control of air parameters when you consider the broad spectrum of industries that it permeates; museums preserving precious artefacts, operating theatres, clean rooms, right through to coffee shops on the high street. Sauermann is an innovative, people orientated, thriving business, and I feel proud to be part of an expanding team.”

Sauermann UK managing director, Ernest Bate, said: “We already have an extremely talented team in the UK and overseas. With these foundations already in place, Sauermann will continue to increase its offerings and be the ‘go-to’ for solutions. Attracting people of this calibre into the business is a great endorsement of our strategy and ambition. I’m excited to welcome both Ian and Sam to be part of a very bright future.”
