Ritchie Engineering Company, service tools specialist and manufacturer of the Yellow Jacket range, has appointed Birmingham-based Paul Ponsonby Ltd to deliver its warehouse and distribution operations as it seeks to grow product availability in Europe.
For the past 20 years, Ritchie Engineering has maintained a warehouse in the UK to support the global expansion Yellow Jacket products. The company says the closure of this facility and the move to the Paul Ponsonby centralised distribution centre will help reduce environmental impact while introducing enhanced systems and processes to increase order efficiency.
Kristen Ritchie, President of Ritchie Engineering. said: “Transitioning to a third-party provider will not change the Tellow Jacket core values and renowned brand. This strategic shift allows Ritchie Engineering to reallocate resources toward further strengthening our commitment to customer service and global growth, while also providing faster shipping and improved product availability across Europe and beyond.”
