Richards to head 3D Plus

Martin Richards has been appointed to head 3D Plus, the joint venture formed earlier this year between wholesale group Beijer Ref and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI).

A Beijer Ref statement said: "Martin Richards, a stalwart of air conditioning distribution, has joined 3D Plus as Business Director and will head all UK operations.''

Richards, who was most recently General Manager of Midea distributor FG Europe UK, has also worked at Carrier, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu and Hitachi during almost 30 years in the industry.

He said: “I am delighted to be setting up this new joint venture between Beijer Ref and MHI. The MHI brand is very strong in the UK and through this joint venture 3D Plus will undoubtedly grow on this success.”
