Panasonic equipment has been used to transform cooling and heating at an NHS clinic in Dorset.

Canford House is a managed office space in Poole, leased by the Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The building previously used an ageing chilled water system, operating on R22 refrigerant, paired with an old boiler, both working 16-hour days.

Owners St Modwens (recently sold to Biz Space) required a long-term solution and a Panasonic VRF 2-Pipe Mini ECOi 6 series, in addition to a Panasonic Aquarea-Pro 50 kW, was installed by Woodhouse Environmental Services to provide precise temperature control and low energy consumption.

Trevor Woodhouse, of Woodhouse Environmental Services, said: “As the CCG had to stay operational during any work, it was important for the installation of a new system to have minimum impact on the day-to-day running of the property, to fit into a specific small space, be energy efficient, work with existing units and be installed quickly.“
