 | Smith Brothers Stores Newcastle is inviting customers to its official opening on Friday (20 July). The event will feature a hog roast, the chance to win prizes on a penalty shoot-out simulator, free SBS merchandise and a free bar. It is also hoped to have a Q&A session with a former Newcastle United player. Guests will have the chance to meet the Newcastle branch team, along with key industry suppliers and manufacturers. |
The branch has been open since March and forms part of a 14-depot network across England and Wales, which includes a head office in Blaby, Leicestershire.
SBS director Martin Denton said: “Opening the branch in Newcastle has been one of the highlights for SBS in 2018, The branch has already firmly established itself in the region and is going from strength to strength. It will be great to welcome both customers and suppliers to our open day and show off what is a very impressive operation.”
Brian Smith, Newcastle branch manager, said: “I am really proud of what has been achieved in such a short space of time setting up the new branch of Smith Brothers Stores. All the team are really looking forward to showcasing the branch to our customers.”
The event will start from 2pm at Unit C11 The Avenues, Eleventh Avenue North, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0NJ
