 | Pipe Center has launched a new valve guide to aid specification for building services professionals. The guide covers Wolseley's range of JET valves and is the first to list products by application – driving efficiency, cutting time and allowing professionals to make more informed choices. The applications covered in the guide are low temperature hot water, domestic hot water, potable water, chilled water and gas. |
The launch is part of a Wolseley transformation project aimed at putting the customer’s needs at the centre of all activity. According to Pipe Center, many of its customers are now involved in large MEICA (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation) projects that demand a range of skills and product knowledge.
Phil Viner, category director for pipes, valves and fittings at Wolseley, said: “With so many variations of valves on the market for customers to navigate through, we identified a need to start listing our products by project rather than product. We understand our customers’ businesses and their challenges and want to be responsive to customer needs, forging more of a partnership approach.”
More than 100 JET valves are listed in the guide including Pipe Center’s latest commissioning valve.
