New CEO for Nucore Group

Aberdeen-based Nucore Group has announced the appointments of Mark Fraser as chief executive officer and Russell Ward as non-executive chairman.

Nucore has a portfolio of specialist engineering companies, including HVAC & Refrigeration and Oteac, that provide engineering products and services, from fire and security to climate control engineering to the offshore oil and gas, onshore petrochemical and marine industries, as well as large private and public sector clients.

Mark Fraser joined the group in 2018 as CFO, working closely with the senior management team to drive performance across the group.  He said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as the group’s CEO.  I have just returned from Houston, where I met with other business leaders to showcase Nucore Group’s experience in the offshore energy sector. We are looking forward to building on our company’s strong track record to further expand our international reach, all of which is supported by our strong and very experienced workforce.”
