U
nprecedented sales growth continues for MHI air conditioning through wholesalers HRP, Dean & Wood, RW Refrigeration Wholesale and DWG Ireland, with consultant specification support from 3Dplus. It has been decided to accelerate the recruitment plan within the MHI Projects and MHI Direct sales teams.

MHI Sales Director Harriet Evans explained: “It’s clearly the right time for more of the UK and Irish markets to see MHI as a key player. I am keen to engage with new and existing contractors and to support them with an outstanding product range at a keen market price. I am therefore investing more into our dedicated air conditioning sales team to back up our fantastic distribution partners. New support brands MHI Direct and MHI Projects have been launched with encouraging results to date.’’
The MHI Direct teams are based in Manchester and Leeds, with a further dynamic team planned for London. Headed by Becky Smith, these teams provide dedicated support for all MHI air conditioning enquiries and product selections and are responsible for promotion of the new 3 Diamond loyalty scheme. Deliveries or collections are channelled through the 47 locations of our distribution partners, where a one-stop shop for ancillaries is also offered.

Complementing MHI Direct and the distribution partners is MHI Projects, a dedicated field-based MHI Regional Sales Management team located across the UK. Heading the team is MHI National Sales Manager Paul Melia, who explains: “MHI is now being seen and specified as a key contender in the UK & Ireland and it is crucial for us to support larger contractors with their VRF product offering through familiarity and training to back up our extended 7 year warranty, which is synonymous with the Mitsubishi brand. We are in the process of recruiting experienced Regional Sales Managers who have the same passion as us to grow market share.”

To date MHI have training academies located in Walthamstow and Slough with new locations being built in Bristol and Sheffield.
