Mitsubishi Electric has introduced an R32 version e-series modular heat pump chiller to replace the existing R410a range.  The new models target commercial and multi-residential applications. It is available in variations of 150 kW and 180kW, and up to 6 modules can be combined as a single system.

James Chaplen, senior product manager at Mitsubishi Electric, said: “Using R32 refrigerant in the system means customers can not only benefit from lower GWP and increased energy efficiency, but also a reduction of equivalent CO2emissions of up to 90% against our previous model. With the addition of a heat pump version, customers can also ensure they are supplied with both LTHW and chilled water capabilities.”
