The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) says it is continuing to increase its regional presence with five events organised by branches before the end of the year.

It will be hosting two Cool Talk breakfast briefings for service engineers and technicians, one taking place in Basingstoke on October 9, the other in Bristol on November 12. In addition, the Northern Branch will be holding its annual dinner on October 24 in Newcastle while the IOR Scotland is holding a seminar on October 30 in Aberdeen and its annual dinner on November 14 in Glasgow.
Miriam Rodway, CEO of the IOR said: “The Trustees made a commitment to organise more local events this year following feedback from our members that they wanted to make more contacts locally. We are delighted that these have been very well supported by members and by the industry.

"We are very fortunate to have a strong team of committed members in our branches who have great relationships with companies willing to host meetings and provide sponsorship support to keep costs to members down. Having a regional programme of events has helped the IOR to address needs for technical input and networking across the country.”

The full calendar of forthcoming regional events including Cool Talks breakfast briefings and local seminars is available from the events page on the IOR website.
