The Institute of Refrigeration's Cool Talks for technicians and service engineers are now held as webinars allowing more participants to join in from home.
There will be two webinars this month with the first one taking place on May 13 (10am start) with Karl Roberts of Bacharach discussing fixed gas monitoring systems and Steve Taliodoros of LU-VE looking at unit coolers and the cold room.
The second, on May 20 (9.15), will look at the service and maintenance of R32 air conditioning equipment, with Martyn Ives of Fujitsu, and guidance on the safe handling of A2L and other flammable refrigerant cylinders from Dewi Garcia of Harp International.
The Cool Talks webinars are free to attend. To register visit the IOR events page.
On June 23 the IOR Women in RACHP Network will hold a webinar to celebrate the 2020 International Women in Engineering Day. The event will be open to anyone working in, or who has an interest in, the refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump sector. This will be an ideal opportunity to find out more about the WiRACHP, connect with other members of the network and hear from women working in the sector about their experiences and career paths.
