The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) are working together to provide their respective members with access to relevant technical events this year as part of a commitment to members’ professional development and sharing of expertise.
As part of an agreement signed in January, IOR members will be able to attend the following CIBSE events at a discounted rate:
- CIBSE Technical Symposium (March)
- CIBSE Decarbonisation Conference (April)
- CIBSE Climate Adaptation and Resilience Conference (October)
CIBSE members will be encouraged to participate in IOR webinars and events which will be promoted to those with an interest in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps.
Miriam Rodway CEO of the IOR, said: “Collaborations such as these serve to strengthen the whole sector, expand the Institute’s influence, and provide more offerings to members. With skills and education continuing as our main strategic theme this year, this arrangement with CIBSE is another example of putting this into practice.”
