Organisers of this year’s InstallerSHOW say it will include an increased focus on the cooling industry.

Whilst the show has historically centred around heating and plumbing, this year's event at the NEC, Birmingham (June 25-27) is set to embrace a wider range of HVACR issues, with a dedicated Climate Solutions Theatre providing a focal point for discussions on cooling, heating, IAQ and M&E.

As World Refrigeration Day (WRD) falls during the show on June 26, the Climate Solutions Theatre will see the UK launch, incorporating a range of interviews and events around its 2024 theme of Temperature Matters. This will include a reception to mark 200 years since the birth of Lord Kelvin.

June 26 will also see a series of sessions tackling some of the cooling industry’s hot topics, while the following day will see the theatre dedicate an entire day to celebrating Women in Cooling and Heating. World Refrigeration Day will also announce its inaugural Influential Women Showcase at the show. A highlight of the diversity discussions on June 27 will see Countdown’s Rachel Riley discussing her STEM journey alongside a cross-section of the heating and cooling industry.
