The 34th Hampshire Refrigeration Society annual golf tournament, scheduled for Old Thorns on July 15, has been cancelled due to the latest Covid restrictions.
The event had sold out, with more than 120 players and 30 additional evening guests.
HRS chairman John Emm said: "Understandably, the committee are totally gutted, especially with all the hard work that’s gone into staging this event, and also the inconvenience that it has caused. We are really sorry that we can’t all meet up, and we need to get this Covid kicked into touch very soon.''

Contracts have been agreed for next year's event to take place on July 14, 2022.
