Samsung Climate Solutions has appointed Heronhill Air Conditioning as a specialist spare part distributor and warranty service centre, serving installers and contractors nationwide.
Samsung says Heronhill’s distribution experience and local holding of Samsung stock parts will boost its customer support. In addition to spare part distribution and sales, Heronhill will also, in partnership with Samsung’s technical support team, manage standard warranty parts and labour contribution claims for in-warranty repair work.
Paul Price, head of technical for Samsung Climate Solutions in the UK, said: “We are very excited and proud to be collaborating with the team at Heronhill and are confident that this new venture will improve the customer experience even further and minimise delays in getting equipment back up and running again.”
Samsung says it has listened to customers when dealing with warranty on equipment and created a simple step-by-step approach for installers and maintenance engineers to follow. By making the process smooth and transparent, it will help them to save time and reach a resolution as quickly as possible.
Heronhill managing director Nigel Manning said: “Samsung is a reputable brand which complements our extensive portfolio of HVAC products. Our commercial manager, Rosie Henson, and finance manager, Louise Chudley, have worked very closely with the Samsung team to integrate streamlined communication links to enable a responsive warranty parts and labour system.''
