FSW and Business Edge join forces for CO2 training

FSW is working in partnership with training specialists Business Edge to offer a one-day CO2 training course concentrating on the wholesaler's new range of Profroid QuietCOOL  packaged condensing units.
 
The course is designed to enable technicians to plan and undertake installation and commissioning of trans-critical condensing units and is open to all F-Gas qualified technicians who hold a current certificate. Detailed course notes are provided for each candidate and certificates of competency will be issued by Logic Certification.
Training is carried out on Profroid units, coupled with Searle CO2 evaporators, and the course content covers:
  • Hazards and safe handling of R744.
  • Theoretical understanding of trans-critical refrigeration systems.
  • Jointing and pressure testing K65 pipe.
  • Installation, testing, charging and commissioning of the Profroid QuietCOOL CO2 condensing units, including the Carel controller.
  • Servicing and maintenance of QuietCOOL CO2 units
 
The courses are available to book now and take place on 27 September, 25 October and 15 November at the Business Edge Training Centre in Portsmouth.
 
Cost of the one day course is £350 +VAT and includes lunch and refreshments.

The new units will be also be on show at FSW's refrigerant roadshows next week. 

The events start on Monday in Newcastle (6.30-8.30pm), followed by two sessions in Birmingham on Wednesday (1.30-3.30pm and 6.30-8.30pm) and Southampton on Friday (6.30-8.30pm).

Speakers are Peter Dinnage from Climalife, Remy Prunac of Profroid and FSW's Robin Green.
