The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) Women in RACHP Network will host a guided tour of the UK's largest water source heat pump project, in Clydebank.
The Queens Quay Energy Centre is home to Scotland’s first major water source heat pump – a renewable energy system that extracts heat from the River Clyde and distributes it via an underground district heating network. The initiative represents a major step forward in delivering low-carbon heating to homes and businesses, while significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
• Tour the energy centre and view large-scale heat pump technology in operation
• Hear from project experts involved in its design and implementation
• Gain insight into the future of sustainable heating and cooling solutions
• Network with others keen to find out more about low-carbon innovation
The event is free and open to anyone involved in or studying refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump technologies.
