The Institute of refrigeration has asked for nominations for its ACR Journal sponsored Lifetime Achievement Award.

Supporting what the IOR calls the “life and soul of the RACHP industry”, the Lifetime Achievement Award aims to celebrate outstanding individuals who have spent their career in the field as hands-on service, maintenance, installation or commissioning engineers. Heavily reliant on the services of such dedicated engineers, who are rarely placed in the spotlight, the IOR is keen to show that the industry respects their work by honouring their achievements.

The IOR are particularly interested in hearing about engineers who took on extra responsibilities during their working life, including mentoring young technicians, giving toolbox talks to branches or colleges, or sharing their vast accumulated knowledge through internal bulletins or trade press articles.
