Richard Warry, director of Somerset-based carbon reduction specialist Manzana, is tackling a 500-mile cycle ride around the south coast in aid of charity.

Richard is taking part in the Challenge 500 in support of Changes Bristol, a mental health charity providing peer support groups for people suffering mental distress in the Bristol area.

He began the ride from Bridport on May 21, covering around 75 miles each day, and is scheduled to finish on Friday (although he says he may do a few more days!), with night stops in Dawlish, Plymouth, Bodmin, St Ives, Coverack and Mevagissey.

Richard spent more than two decades with Powrmatic and Mitsubishi Electric before launching Manzana, based in Chard. Manzana offers consultancy and project management for manufacturing companies and commercial building owners who want to cut carbon emissons and reduce running costs via low carbon technology such as CHP, absorption chillers and dual energy chillers.
