Dow has introduced a ready-to-use silicone spacer for the assembly of air-filled insulating glass units, including commercial refrigeration doors.
The manufacturer says the DOWSIL Crystal Clear Spacer is flexible and optically clear solution where good product visibility in a retail environment is required, as well as other glass applications. It is said to provide very low thermal conductivity to enhance the performance of energy efficient glazing systems.
Dow is hosting an online launch event on May 20, with participants invited to register online.
