Danfoss has acquired Italian manufacturer Palladio Compressors and says the integration of screw technology into its commercial portfolio will enhance its offering across several key markets.
Palladio specialises in the design and production of screw compressors and Danfoss believes the move will create new opportunities for growth including:
• the high-potential industrial heat pump market
• the traditional comfort HVAC market (including IT cooling)
• the industrial and large-commercial refrigeration market
The newly branded Danfoss Screw range will benefit from increased investment in R&D, production and sales capacities. By integrating screw technology into its suite of compressors, valves, controls, heat exchangers and sensors, Danfoss says it is reinforcing its commitment to delivering greener and more efficient solutions worldwide.
