Daikin has announced the launch of a new podcast series designed to keep HVAC professionals informed and ahead of rapid industry changes.
On Air With Daikin is hosted by Matteo Dall'Ombra, National Specification Manager at Daikin UK, and features conversations with industry leaders, policy makers, technical experts and installers about the evolving HVAC landscape – with a key focus on decarbonisation, legislation changes and best practice.
"The HVAC world is moving quickly. New rules, new tech, and bigger sustainability goals are changing the game for all of us," said Dall'Ombra. "At Daikin, we've been leading that change for years, but we know technology alone isn't enough. Staying ahead means staying informed."
Bringing together diverse perspectives from across the industry, the podcast addresses the need for accessible, expert-driven content as the industry faces unprecedented transformation. Each episode delivers practical insights that professionals can implement immediately, from understanding complex regulations to identifying new business opportunities.
Early episodes include:
- The Importance of Reclaiming Refrigerant, with Jake Matthews from A-Gas, exploring reclaim and reuse processes and their role in the refrigerant circular economy.
- BREEAM v7 - What's Changing and Why, featuring Tom Wilson, Head of BREEAM Development, covering key scheme updates and their implications for installers.
- D-Carbonise Partner Spotlight, with Steve Molloy (Daikin), Joe Dunningham (Accent), and Joel Brittain (Ergro), sharing the story behind Daikin's partner programme and success stories.
Daikin says the series complements its recently launched D-carbonise Partner Status scheme, which recognises and rewards installer businesses taking concrete steps to embrace sustainability and reduce their own carbon emissions.
