How the new office building at Gloucester Business Park will look
Coolair Equipment has secured a contract worth more than £300,000 to provide heating and cooling for a new office development in Gloucester.

The company's Cannock office is installing air conditioning with heat recovery to allow simultaneous heating and cooling of different areas of the building forming the new apex of Gloucester Business Park.
The 75,000 sq ft premises will include a reception area, meeting room and boardroom, and both open-plan and closed-plan office areas. The project is due for completion early in 2020.

Coolair will use a Hitachi IVX VRF system combined with Daikin DX condensers to serve the building’s air handling units. The energy efficient system is designed to use the rejected heat from cooling sun-facing spaces to heat non-sun-facing areas simultaneously. It also has the added advantages of reducing the building’s carbon emissions and keeping operating costs low.

Ben Snookes, Coolair Equipment Project Engineer, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Spie UK, with whom we have developed a highly successful relationship, to bring the latest comfort cooling technology to such an exciting new office landmark.”
