The industry gathered at Manchester’s Midland Hotel to see awards presented to individuals and companies from across the air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump sectors. |
Aermec UK triumphed in the ACR Project category, with its data centre rooftop chiller installation for a major financial company, while Star Refrigeration was the Refrigeration Project winner for its work at the Snozone indoor snow centre.
Toshiba’s Super Digital Inverter Smart Cassette was named ACR Product of the Year and the SCM Frigo CUBO2 Smart condensing units carried off the Refrigeration Product of the Year prize.
HRP was named Wholesaler of the Year and there were individual awards for Jacinta Caden, ACR Woman of the Year, and John Austin-Davies, who was named Phil Creaney’s ACR Champion, in memory of the former ACR Journal editor.
In the world of heat pumps, meanwhile, there was a double celebration for Viessmann and Matrix Energy Systems, who won both the Domestic Air Source Heat Pump Project and Domestic Ground Source Heat Pump categories.
