Conex Bänninger will seal a darts ‘treble’ when it exhibits at PHEX Chelsea in November.

Visitors to its stand will not only learn about the company’s range of flame-free fittings, they will also be given the opportunity to meet former professional darts player Bobby George. He will take on visitors in a series of three-dart challenges on both days of the show, 14 and 15 November,  at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium.

Bobby George was a popular attraction for installers when he supported Conex Bänninger at PHEX+ at Alexandra Palace, while ex-darts champion Peter Manley and MC Paul Booth drew the crowds at PHEX Manchester.

Dan Wild, business unit director for UK and Ireland, said: “We are expecting a very busy two days, which is why we’ll have a big team of technical sales managers on our stand (Stand 86) ready to answer questions from installers.

“We look forward to explaining how flame-free >B< Press fittings can help them complete installations more quickly than with traditional brazing, increasing their productivity and revenue earning opportunities.

“We hope they will also ‘throw some arrows’ with Bobby. If they beat him they will win a set of exclusive Bobby George darts.”

The flame-free Conex Bänninger >B< Press range results in reduced fire risks by removing the need for solder, adhesives or additional jointing materials.

The fittings can be used with hard, half-hard and soft-copper tube, providing a secure, long-life, leak-proof joint. Once pressure has been applied to >B< Press fittings with a compatible press tool, a joint is permanently made and cannot be dismounted.

The range has the advantage of a >B< Profile 3-point press, with two mechanical presses either side of the bead and one hydraulic press crimping the O-ring.
