 | Bob Atkins, Regional Manager at Hubbard Products, has announced his retirement from the industry following a short period of ill health. He has been an important member of the Hubbard commercial refrigeration team for an almost uninterrupted 28 years and was instrumental in the development of the company's product portfolio over that period. |
Bob’s knowledge and enthusiasm for pragmatic solutions to commercial refrigeration requirements has earned him a high-level of respect within the industry. He played a key role in the launch of Hubbard Products' successful range of packaged condensing units which are now specified by a large number of national and international retailers.
Pat Maughan, CEO Hubbard Products, said: “Bob’s decision to retire is one that has clearly been given a great deal of thought and one that we have met with the utmost respect and support – it is never an easy decision to make.
"He is well known within the refrigeration industry in the Midlands and North of England and throughout all the commercial sectors we deal with. He was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to many and I would like to thank Bob for all that he has offered during his wide-ranging career.
"I would also like to wish him well in his transition from commerce into the next chapter of his life, whilst truly hoping that he enjoys the opportunity to rest and recuperate and develop new interests in the future.”
