BITZER signs new 10-year deal with container giant Maersk

BITZER has extended its long-standing partnership with Maersk Container Industry with a new 10-year agreement.

BITZER will continue to supply 2-stage OCTAGON aluminium semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors for MCI's Star Cool refrigeration system.

​The compressor technology, and the dedicated electronic control developed by BITZER subsidiary Lodam, have contributed to recognition of Star Cool's proven low energy consumption and cargo preservation features.
 
MCI and BITZER have been working together for more than 15 years and the Star Cool system is installed in more than 250,000 reefer containers operated across more than 40 international shipping lines and multinational fruit companies.
