Home ventilation specialist Airflow Developments will be exhibiting at Grand Designs Live at the NEC Birmingham from the 11-15 October.

With indoor air quality a key concern for many visitors, Airflow will be showcasing its portfolio of ventilation solutions including, Adroit units, Airflex Pro semi-rigid ducting and a range of residential fans to help self-builders make their home a healthier place to live.
Utilising the latest in mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) technology, the Passive House certified Adroit units provide a ‘whole house’ solution to ventilation. Helping to maintain a healthy environment whilst maximising energy efficiency, Adroit recovers over 90% of the heat that would typically be lost during the ventilation process and uses it to pre-warm the incoming fresh, filtered outdoor air that is supplied around your home. Specified for Heathcott Road, Leicester, the Adroit was critical to the development achieving Passive House certification, the largest housing scheme in Europe to receive the status.

Airflow will also be exhibiting the Airflex Pro range of semi-rigid ducting. Available in both oval and round profiles, this zero leakage ducting has SAP approval and can reduce the on-site installation process by up to 70% when compared to traditional rigid or spiral ducting.

John Kelly, marketing manager at Airflow, said: “We’re delighted to be exhibiting at Grand Designs Live this year. It provides us with a fantastic opportunity to engage with self-builders and homeowners to advise and inform about the importance of effective ventilation in the modern home.”
