Airedale International Air Conditioning picked up a second award in a matter of weeks as it was named Manufacturer of the Year at the CIBSE Yorkshire Awards.

The Leeds-based company enjoyed success in the same category at the recent Yorkshire Post Business in Excellence Awards.

The CIBSE Yorkshire Awards, held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, celebrate the best in mechanical and engineering building services in the region.
The award recognised the launch of AireWall, Airedale’s precision computer room air handling unit, developed for use in the data centre market. AireWall flexes output to match demand, using the latest fan and coil technologies to maximise free cooling and operating efficiencies.

Darren Farrar, Marketing Manager for Airedale International said: “Winning this award from CIBSE Yorkshire, who work with so many other accomplished engineering firms in our region, is significant to us, especially having recently won the regional business award from the Yorkshire Post. We are very proud to receive this recognition in our field.

“There is so much happening at Airedale at the moment. This year alone we have seen the launch of AireWall, the introduction of European Data Centre Sales Team and the launch of Azure R32 range. And it doesn’t stop there, with our continual investment into research and development there is much more to come.”
