Swedish ACR firm, Beijer Ref, announced that it has won their first order for a transcritical carbon dioxide (CO2) cooling from a supermarket in New Zealand.
The order came via its subsidiary Patton and marks Beijer Ref's ambitions to be a leader when it comes to low-GWP refrigerants.
Italian company, SCM Frigo (owned by Beijer Ref), will make and install the CO2 rack for the retail chain in New Zealand. The innovative design is a so-called 'plug 'n play' system with an integrated gas cooler in the outdoor frame. That makes it easy and simple to install.
