Leak detection and monitoring specialist Bacharach has created a free watch-on-demand webinar for contractors and equipment owners, aiming to help cut refrigerant emission.

Bacharach says it has used its Parasense software platform to classify over 2.8 billion recorded refrigerant samples into five common types.
Jason Ayres, application support engineer for Parasense, said: “Each of the refrigerant leak types identified have their own behaviours and characteristics. It’s important that we share this information so that these leaks can be identified and stopped as early as possible. Leaks sometimes come and go depending on the operating conditions, making them very difficult and very time consuming to track down. That’s why we hope our webinar will explain the five common leak types we’ve come across in our 30 years’ experience in refrigerant leak detection and reporting.”

The importance of quickly detecting, notifying and fixing refrigerant leaks helps to ensure product quality, employee and customer safety, reduce operating costs and improving equipment performance for any industry where cooling and refrigeration is critical.

The findings are available free through Bacharach’s Leak Event Webinar.
