Trane acquires AL-KO Air Technology

Trane Technologies has completed the acquisition of AL-KO Air Technology, a division of AL-KO SE, based in Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany.

AL-KO Air Technology designs, manufactures, sells and services sustainable air handling units and extraction systems for a range of applications, such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial processes, retail, recreation, and commercial buildings.

Approximately 800 AL-KO Air Technology employees in Europe and China have joined the Trane Technologies team. AL-KO Air Technology’s three manufacturing sites ─ in Jettingen-Scheppach and Wittenberg, Germany and Taicang, China ─ are now part of Trane Technologies, along with its sales offices in Europe and Asia. Dr. Christian Stehle, current CEO of AL-KO Air Technology will continue to run the business, reporting to Jose La Loggia.

Trane Technologies will continue to leverage the AL-KO Air Technology brand with customers. Trane equipment and services will be sold to existing AL-KO Air Technology customers and on AL-KO Air Technology airside projects, and the company will sell AL-KO Air Technology equipment and services through their Trane Commercial HVAC platforms in Europe and Asia.
