Safe Monitoring Group buys Sensotran

Safe Monitoring Group has completed the acquisition of Spanish gas detection system manufacturer Sensotran. 

Established in 1990 and headquartered in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Sensotran is a Spanish company specialising in gas detection solutions for industrial safety. The company offers a range of fixed gas detectors, wireless instruments and portable devices to monitor toxic, flammable, and oxygen-deficient atmospheres.

As part of Safe Monitoring Group (SMG), Sensotran will collaborate with the other companies in the group across areas such as R&D, marketing, procurement, sales and service.

SMG has acquired 100% of the shares in Sensotran. The sellers of Sensotran have reinvested and are now shareholders in SMG, and they will continue working within the group.
