 | NIBE, the Swedish heating and cooling systems manufacturer, has bought the US-based HVAC solutions firm, Climate Control Group, for US$364 million (~£246 million), the company announced last week. Climate Control Group (CCG) owns well-known brands including ClimateMaster, IEC, ClimateCraft and ClimaCool, and makes its HVAC systems for both commercial and domestic markets. According to NIBE, the purchase will fit into its US operation, which employs over 1,200 people and turns over US$ 274 million (~£190 million) a year. |
