 | Elta Group has strengthened its position in Australasia with the acquisition of leading New Zealand ventilation company Smooth-Air. |
Smooth Air employs more than 85 members of staff across New Zealand and is committed to ensuring that its product range and custom builds meet the appropriate quality and Australia / New Zealand compliance and safety standards.
As with the wider Elta Group businesses, its manufacturing facilities use the latest production technologies and equipment.This is alongside the expert application of traditional sheet metal-craft, with specialists utilising vacuum-forming, press brake, CNC plasma, CNC 3D Routing, turret punch, and spinning facilities to create custom-made HVAC components.
David Ball, chairman of Elta Group, said: “Not only is Smooth Air a leader in its field, its owners have created a culture reflective of Elta Group’s own family approach, driven by tremendous spirit. I am privileged that they are now part of our family.”
