The Danfoss Smart Store aims to offer solutions covering refrigeration to heating, lighting and connection to smart grid
Danfoss says it will offer a range of integrated food retail solutions in its Smart Store at EuroShop 2017 in Dusseldorf.

Henrik Schurmann, Vice-President Danfoss Food Retail, said: “With smart and integrated solutions for compressors, refrigerated display cases, cold rooms, HVAC, lighting and connections to external grids, we can prove energy savings of up to 50%.

"With our Smart Store concepts we demonstrate that connected and sustainable stores are not a future dream, but highly feasible and profitable solutions today.”
The Smart Store will also feature a mobile training unit for CO2 refrigeration. Visitors can get hands-on experience with CO2 systems and simulations of refrigeration systems optimized for CO2; notably the new Ejector technology designed to bring profitable CO2 solutions with high-energy efficiency to warmer climates.

Also on show will be the cold chain management system, Cool.it, offering cloud-based monitoring of the entire value chain.

EuroShop 2017 runs from March 5-9.
