Daikin Buys US Filters Manufacturer

Daikin, the cooling systems manufacturer, has bought the American air filters maker, Flanders for $430 million (circa £294 million), the company announced this week.

Flanders designs, makes and markets a range of air filters for residential and commercial markets where they are used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Furthermore, Flanders makes air filters for chemical, biological and nuclear applications, as well as other sectors.
