 | Chemours has signed an agreement with fellow refrigerant manufacturer Arkema which will see the French company distribute XP40 (R449A) in the European Union to meet the growing demand for low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants under the F-Gas Regulation. |
R449A is a popular retrofit choice choice for R404A/R507 among supermarkets, retailers, contractors, distributors and end-users.
Diego Boeri, vice-president of Chemours Fluorochemicals, said: "Since 2015, XP40 has played a critical role in allowing the market to comply with the F-Gas Regulation.
