After the spin-off of the BOCK Group from the GEA Group at the beginning of 2021, the company is once again operating independently on the market.

With its global production sites in China, India and the Czech Republic, as well as the associated international sales network, the BOCK Group, which turns 90 this year, is regarded as a German premium supplier in the field of refrigeration technology.

The group is pursuing ambitious growth targets which, in addition to the mobile compressor business in which the company is historically well positioned, essentially relate to growth in the stationary sector. "Especially with the CO2 compressors developed over the years, the BOCK Group has an extremely attractive and competitive product portfolio, which is fully in line with the trend of switching to natural refrigerants," says Dr. Marcus Albrecht, spokesman of the management board.

Against this background, the manufacturing capacity at the company's headquarters in Frickenhausen was again expanded at the beginning of the year by a fully automatic 5-axis CNC machining centre with a large tool magazine of 250 places and with an integrated state-of-the-art loading system.

Bock says the seven-figure investment is another step in the compressor manufacturer's planned investment strategy. Further investments are already in preparation and will follow during this and next year.
