"Wednesday’s announcement on the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) should provide a much needed boost to the heat pump industry." Say's Russell Dean, Mitsubishi Electric

The increase in the air source heat pump tariff by 33% will enable the industry to grow towards the volume needed to help meet the country’s renewable targets and most importantly help customers reduce their heating bills.

We know that air source heat pumps are suitable for the vast majority of homes, can be straightforward to install and that they can make a real difference to alleviating fuel poverty. Heating oil prices have been tracking the recent increases in wholesale oil costs which is going to make this winter a little tougher for households.

Here at Mitsubishi Electric, we are now in our 10th year of delivering our renewable solution to residential customers, so air source heat pump technology is no longer new. It’s well proven, has an army of professional installers and has real backing from government to be the heating solution for the future.
