STIEBEL ELTRON UK has been recognised by industry peers as the manufacturer of the best domestic air to water product of the year, winning the top prize in its category at the National ACR & Heat Pump Awards 2026.
The Wirral-based renewable heating manufacturer secured the award for its commitment to product development, installation and sustainability with its LWZ 07.1 Premium HKL 230 Central unit.
The awards, held on 11 June at The Midland Hotel in Manchester, are among the most respected in the HVACR industry.
STIEBEL ELTRON was commended for its innovation in delivering LWZ 07.1 Premium HKL 230 Central, which incorporates five core functions together in a single, compact unit, delivering space heating, cooling, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, air purification and domestic hot water.
Launched in June 2025, the system is designed to help homeowners switch to low carbon living with a view to making it as simple as possible.
The LWZ 07.1 Premium HKL 230 Central replaces the need for gas boilers, cutting carbon emissions by around two tonnes a year in doing so and leaving households better prepared for the future as net zero homes become more prominent.
The unit occupies just 1.1 square metres of floor space and requires no external equipment, making it well suited to space-constrained properties and urban developments, where siting outdoor units can be challenging.
Meanwhile, it achieves a Seasonal Coefficient Performance of 4.21 at 35°C and hold an A++ energy efficiency rating at both 35°C and 55°C.
The product also carries MCS approval and received the Red Dot Award, German Design Award and iF Design Award in 2025, alongside being Ethical Consumer Best Buy accreditation.
