STIEBEL ELTRON UK has made four new appointments across its technical and sales development functions, with investment in technical knowledge and customer support at the heart of the expansion.
Jacob Ebbrell and Kalvin Foulkes join the company as Technical Advisors, based at STIEBEL ELTRON's head office in Bromborough. Jacob brings a practical engineering background and several years of experience in both installation and systems management. Kalvin holds a degree in Physics and has built his career in technical engineering roles across the white goods sector.
Both will complete full product training across STIEBEL ELTRON's range of air source and ground source heat pumps and ventilation systems. They will be responsible for providing technical support to installers and end users, working through issues from first contact through to resolution.
The appointments come as the company invests in building its technical capacity to match growing demand. The CCC (Climate Change Committee) recommends that around half of all UK homes be heated by a heat pump by 2040, compared to just 1% today, with annual installations needing to rise from 60,000 in 2023 to nearly 450,000 by 2030.1
Alongside the technical hires, Dominique Morelis joins as Sales Development Manager and Lorna Goodwin as Sales Development Coordinator.
Dominique brings a strong commercial background in channel sales, affiliate partnership management and public sector tendering.
Lorna brings more than seven years of sales and account management experience at Premier Guarantee and Barbour ABI, and 17 years in customer-facing roles at Lloyds Banking Group.
Dominique and Lorna’s combined experience will be instrumental to driving new business growth for the company.
John Felgate, Managing Director at STIEBEL ELTRON UK, said: “These appointments reflect the strength of the momentum we're building at STIEBEL ELTRON UK.
“Dominique, Lorna, Jacob and Kalvin each bring something distinct to the team, and together they reinforce our ability to support customers and partners at every stage, from first enquiry through to technical resolution.
“The renewable heating market is growing at pace, and having the right people in place is how we stay ahead of the game, making sure we can meet the demand for sustainable energy solutions.”
The four hires also form part of a wider programme of recruitment and upskilling across STIEBEL ELTRON UK, as the company builds the internal expertise to support its expanding product range and a growing network of installer partners across the country.
